Hi, welcome to Pendle Pottery Studio, a ceramic studio in the village of Barrowford, in beautiful district of Pendle, the studio is run by professional ceramic artist Stella Boothman. Pendle Pottery Studio is a fully equipped ceramics studio with a fabulous range of tools, materials and equipment, everything you will need to create beautiful and unique creations from clay. Stella is an experienced teacher, who will guide you through each stage of the process of constructing your piece. This class is suitable for complete beginners aged 14+ but will also appeal to more experienced potters as well. Join us for this delightful workshop where we will use traditional pottery construction techniques to create a contemporary or traditional style of pumpkin decoration. You can choose to pierce or carve through the surface to use the pumpkin as a tea light holder, or keep it as a purely decorative piece suitable for use both indoor and outdoor display. You may also wish to create a lid and make your item into a functional storage pot for your home. The fee includes both firings, and all materials, . Your finished pumpkin will be glazed by the studio with your choice of glaze colour from a selection. This is a fun, social, creative event and the workshop fees also includes an autumnal inspired treat and a glass of fizz (non-alcoholic option is available) .

Cancellation Policy

All bookings made via this website or in person include a 20% non-refundable deposit*. We are only a small studio and cancellations impact on both our ability to ensure courses are viable and our ability to fill cancelled spaces at short notice. Cancellation of any place on a workshop must be made in writing by email to pendlepotterystudio@gmail.com. You must give a minimum of 14 full days notice before the start date of your workshop to be eligible for any credit or refund . A credit will be offered to use towards another workshop or if this is not an option a refund will be given less any deposit. Cancellations not made in writing and/or given with less than 14 full days notice are non-refundable. * If a workshop session is cancelled by the studio then you will be notified as soon as possible, usually by email. You will be offered either an alternative date for the same workshop or a credit for an alternative workshop or a refund. ** Occasionally we have waiting lists for courses, should we be able to fill your place from our wait list then we will refund all of the money you initially paid and you will not lose your deposit.
