Service Description
Join us for a morning of creativity and fun, as we show you how to create your very own comical, cute or cheeky Gonk ornament. Our tutor will guide you step by step in how to create your clay character, and you will be encouraged to add your own unique features to make your piece truly unique. These generously sized gnomes are created using pinch pots and can be adapted to be used as planters or as luminaries and can also be made so that they can be hung on a hook or branch. This class is perfect for all abilities, from complete beginners to those returning to making with clay. This class is aimed at adults be we welcome young people aged 12 and over to participate in this session with an accompanying adult. The price includes all materials and the first firing, it also includes a return visit to the studio to glaze your gnome. The date for this will be discussed with you on the day of the course.

Cancellation Policy
All bookings made via this website or in person include a 20% non-refundable deposit*. We are only a small studio and cancellations impact on both our ability to ensure courses are viable and our ability to fill cancelled spaces at short notice. Cancellation of any place on a workshop must be made in writing by email to pendlepotterystudio@gmail.com. You must give a minimum of 14 full days notice before the start date of your workshop to be eligible for any credit or refund . A credit will be offered to use towards another workshop or if this is not an option a refund will be given less any deposit. Cancellations not made in writing and/or given with less than 14 full days notice are non-refundable. * If a workshop session is cancelled by the studio then you will be notified as soon as possible, usually by email. You will be offered either an alternative date for the same workshop or a credit for an alternative workshop or a refund. ** Occasionally we have waiting lists for courses, should we be able to fill your place from our wait list then we will refund all of the money you initially paid and you will not lose your deposit.
